About Aimee

I'm not going to tell you
to keep waiting.

The reason most women find their way to this page is because they've already done everything they were supposed to do and it hasn't been enough.

They've been thorough. They've been patient. They've shown up to every appointment and followed every instruction and still left with nothing that actually moved the needle.

If that's where you are, I want you to know that I'm not going to tell you to keep waiting. I've been exactly where you are. And I know what it took to get out.

the real story

I tried for three years to get pregnant with my daughter.

It started the way it starts for most women. I went to my OB, described what was going on, and was told to try for a year before they'd run any testing. A year later I went back. PCOS, they said. Then they sent me home with no guidance on what to actually do about it.

So I found a functional medicine doctor. She wasn't interested in running labs to find out what was driving my PCOS. Instead she put me on a generic supplement protocol that took my cycle from 45 days to 90. It made everything worse, because the supplements she chose were actively working against my specific root causes. I didn't know that yet. I just knew I was going backwards.

At the time I was finishing my master's in nursing while working full time. I was completely burnt out, not sleeping, running on stress, and watching my body respond to all of it in ways nobody seemed to be able to explain. The conventional answers had run out. The functional medicine answer had made things worse. I didn't know what was left.

I flew from Texas to Arizona to see a fertility-specific naturopath who finally said something different. She told me the answers were in labs nobody had thought to run yet. She also told me I should get certified as an integrative health practitioner and learn to do this work myself.

So I did.

Through my own functional lab testing I finally found out what was actually causing my PCOS. I found a reproductive endocrinologist who was willing to work collaboratively rather than jump straight to IUI and IVF. I knew my body wasn't in a place that was optimized for pregnancy yet, and I wasn't willing to use intervention as a workaround for root causes I hadn't addressed. So I did the work first. I put my PCOS into remission. And I got pregnant on my first round of medication, after three years of being dismissed, misguided, and sent home with nothing.

That process became Blueprint to Fertility Mastery.

Aimee Shadrach, VBA Wellness
Why it matters for you

Everything I do at VBA Wellness came directly from living through what you're living through right now.

I know what it feels like to be told everything looks fine when it doesn't feel fine. I know what it costs to follow advice that turns out to be wrong for your specific situation. I know the particular exhaustion of being a capable, informed woman who can't get a straight answer from the people who are supposed to have them.

I built this practice because that woman deserved better than what I got. She deserves someone who runs the right tests, reads them correctly, and builds a plan around what they actually show rather than what's easiest to prescribe.

That's what I do. And the 82% pregnancy rate among my clients is what happens when you stop guessing and start looking at the full picture.

82%

of my clients get pregnant within the six-month program.

Most of them had already been through conventional fertility treatment. Some had failed IUIs. Some had been told their AMH was too low to conceive naturally. Some had simply been told everything looked fine, for years. The rate is what it is because we run the tests that show what's actually going on.

Credentials

MSN RN IHP2

I'm a registered nurse with a master's degree in nursing and a level two certification as an integrative health practitioner. My clinical background in conventional medicine shapes how I work with clients who are also seeing OBGYNs and REs. My functional medicine training is what fills the gap that conventional medicine leaves.

The personal part

I live in Texas with my husband and our kids. The daughter I tried for three years to have is now a toddler who makes everything chaotic and everything worth it.

I built this practice around motherhood, not the other way around, and I work limited hours by design.

The women I work with get my full attention when we're together. And I get to be present for my own family the rest of the time.

That's the life I was fighting for. It's the same one I'm helping my clients build.
